Former Glan Afan School

This scheme is located on Station Road in the heart of Port Talbot town centre on the site of a former comprehensive school. The scheme has been partly funded by Welsh Government in the form of Social Housing Grant and additional funds from their Vibrant and Viable Places programme which was secured by Coastal in partnership with Neath Port Talbot Council. The scheme will see the demolition of all existing building, with the exception of the façade of the original Port Talbot Grammar School building which dates from the late 19th century.
The new development will provide a total of 47 new homes for rent and will include one and two bedroom apartments, and two and three bedroom houses. In addition to the new homes we will be three new retail units that will benefit from a new courtyard fronting onto Station Road.

Our framework contractor Jehu Project Services are busy onsite and are due to complete the development early in 2019.    



The Former Pines Country Club


Coastal have recently purchased the site of this well-known former venue in Treboeth, Swanasea and have secured planning permission for a new development comprising of two retail units fronting onto Llangyfelach Rd with 16 one bedroom apartments over two floors above, and a further 8 houses and 4 apartments to the rear of the site. All homes will be available for rent and the scheme is partly funded by Welsh Government in the form of Social Housing Grant.
Our framework contractor Morganstone are due to start onsite this Summer and are hoping to complete the development in late 2019. 

Park Road


This scheme in Gorseinon will be on the yard of the former TA centre, deemed surplus to requirements and disposed of by the Ministry of Defence.

It will offer 29 units for Coastal (a mix of one and two bed flats with two being fully adapted ground-floor flats) – walk up flats and one four bed adapted bungalow.
Completion is due in June 2018.​
