This scheme is being constructed on the site of Gower College's old Adult Education Centre.
The site will accomodate eight bedrooms for vulnerable young people making the step to living independently. They will have their own bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, while kitchen and lounge areas will be shared.
In addition, there will be staff offices and accommodation on site, as well as a classroom for flexible use.
The scheme will be complete early in 2018.
 
 
 
Glan Afon School

This major scheme is partially supported by the Welsh Government under their flagship 'Vibrant and Viable Places' regeneration framework.
The site is currently being redeveloped in order to provide 47 new homes, a mixture of two and three bedroom houses and one and two bed flats. There will also be 250m2 of commercial space fronting Station Road.
The scheme includes the retention of the facade of the Vctorian Port Talbot Grammar School.

 

 

 

Park Road

This scheme in Gorseinon will be on the yard of the former TA centre, deemed surplus to requirements and disposed of by the Ministry of Defence.

It will offer 29 units for Coastal (a mix of one and two bed flats with two being fully adapted ground-floor flats) – walk up flats and one four bed adapted bungalow.
Completion is due in June 2018.
 
 
 
 SA1 - Quayside

This development will see the construction of 49 homes on land purchased from the Welsh Government at the SA1 estate. This is in addition to the two other Coastal schemes at the estate, which already provide over 120 affordable homes between them.

The scheme will also be split directly between Coastal, providing homes for affordable rent, and Pennant, who will provide new houses for sale on the open market.
There will be 27 apartments for rent, a mixture of one and two bed homes which will include disabled adapted units. There will be 22 houses for sale, a mixture of three and four bedroom townhouses.
