We know that sometimes what people need from their home can change over time.

We may be able to make minor adaptations to your home to help make living there easier. These could be things like grab rails, extra handrails on your stairs, key safes or lever taps. There’s no age limit to apply for adaptations but you or someone else living there must have a recognised need for the adaptation.

In some cases we may be able to approve bigger adaptations to help make your home more suitable for your long term needs. Most major adaptations go through a grant process and can include things like walk-in showers, stairlifts and ramps.

Please note, due to a reduction in access to external funding, the waiting times for larger home adaptations is currently over one year.
