A development of 70 new homes in Pennard, this project delivered a mixture of much-needed open market and affordable housing in the Gower to those with a local connection including 17 low cost ownership.

With 19 of the total homes being available for social rent, we’re worked alongside Down To Earth Construction to build 6 of these homes, which were built with funding from Welsh Government’s Innovative Housing Programme (IHP). Down To Earth are a not for profit organisation who work with vulnerable groups to promote health and well-being through construction projects.

The IHP homes were built with natural, local materials – principally Welsh larch and sheep wool insulation – and each property features 5.4Kw of solar panelling. This should mean the homes act as power stations, generating more energy than they consume.
