Worried about wellbeing?

Looking after yourself is really important at this time and although there of lots of things you can do to help your wellbeing, don’t forget that there is still support available for you if you need it.

    • If you are worried about coronavirus, www.nhs.uk has plenty of tips to help you to take care of your mental health and wellbeing during this time of uncertainty
    • www.mind.org.uk has lots of ideas for ways in which you can take care of your mental health and wellbeing as well as practical advice for staying at home
    • Mental Health UK has tips for anyone feeling anxious or stressed during the Covid 19 outbreak with information on the simple steps you can take to look after your mental health and well being  https://mentalhealth-uk.org
    • If you are worried that your partner, or that of a friend or family member, is controlling and abusive, you can go to www.womensaid.org.uk for support and information, including Live Chat, the Survivors’ Forum, The Survivor’s Handbook and the Domestic Abuse Directory.
    • Samaritans has a free to call service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, if you want to talk to someone in confidence. Call them on 116 123
    • A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.  Call 999 if you or someone you know experiences an acute life-threatening medical or mental health emergency
